PLEASE UPDATE YOUR DESCRIPTION!!! where is the free breakfast? Why does it smell like your growing weed thruout the ENTIRE building?

I wanted to walk out as soon as i walked in! The front desk receptionist starred at me and had his private conversation with his female partner for 5 minutes before say "what are you doing here?" Like really this is how you greet your customers?

Then i am told i am on 3rd floor... my room has no lock on it...doesnt shut until it is slammed... im scared to turn AC on... the room reaked of weed had to wash my hair 4 times and still have the smell on my clothes and me...

If i could give it no stars i would.. i would actually like a refund! False advertising and there are needles in the parking lot.

Please shut this place down so people do not risk their money and time and their safety!!!

I used JFK INN for airport parking and I was lied to about them not having a shuttle to the airport. The bad reviews are true so avoid this place!

The Entire place is so incredibly dated. It smells like old weed smoke inside. It's not strong. Just kinda musty and old weed smell. All the channels on the TV are old ..playing super old stuff. No one was particularly nice at the front desk or helpful or even there most of the time. The shuttle driver was the most helpful & nice. We waited a long time to be picked up even though it's stated all over that the shuttle comes every 30 mins. We had to call the front desk to have them send someone. The cherry on top was that there was no free breakfast even though it's posted EVERYWHERE. Lol this is a place near the airport that you stay out of pure necessity. It wasn't completely disgusting but it wasn't very pleasant at all. I would not recommend for more than a night or two.

Jfk inn is basically the hell motel. Doesn't deserve any stars. Nor does it deserve anything close to $100 for a stay, for any time ever. THEY SHOULD PAY ME.

Drunk ppl do silly things. Like book hotels at the last minute . So my family did their best to help me while I was say well into toxins for the holiday ughkay.

After waiting over an hour to check in to hell in the lobby with the lingering smell of what I'd imagine crack, pipes, dirt and Newport's smelled like, I was sent to my room in the dungeon. Now I knew I wasn't going to go through with the stay when I woke up in my uber at hells gates in the parking lot. But the henny in me had to see it through. I thought maybe just maybe I'm saucy enough to not be my usual bourgeois self . N E G A T I V E. Behind some extra mattresses in the hallways walkway sat my cell. I literally opened the door and turned around . The walk to the dungeon, look of my cell was enough to sober a great sis up and realize where tf I was. Wtf no! This place needs to be condemned. Horrrrrror horrible, I know much better however in my drunkenness my cousin booked this for me in error.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CAN AFFORD BETTER! Happily purchase a comfortable blanket and pillow in the airport and get comfy orrrr count up your coins for anything else. You will be upset as soon as you reach the inside. You're better off sleeping in the airport trust me.

When we arrived we were placed in a room that's filthy, no soap, no shampoo, no smoke detector (there is a base but detector is missing). One of the small towel seems to have blood stains(?) see picture. Found two roaches crawling on the wall. Just before going to sleep I tried to take a shower and the shower is not working. Requested another room and after bickering they gave my wife and I another room. Even though I have paid through Expedia they demanded more money for this room "upgrade". There is a pimp in the lobby who paid cash for a room that he rented to have his girls do tricks. Outside the hotel parking lot you have homeless people and beggars hanging out. This is definitely not a motel you would like to stay.

My flight was canceled due to the weather, so I had to spend 2 nights at JFK. I wanted to stay close to the airports, so I went online to Google nearby hotels. JFK Inn was the cheapest option so I went with it.

I called them after midnight asking if they had rooms available. The receptionist was very nice to talk to. They had a room available and he also sent a shuttle to the airport to pick me up. During the day shuttle runs every 30 minutes, at night - on as needed basis.

So my impressions of the hotel are - VERY nice and friendly staff. That is the reason for 2 stars. Otherwise I'd give it a "Zero". Here it's why:
      1. There is no elevator. If you have a heavy luggage- be ready to use some muscle.
      2. AC in my room was set at the lowest temperature, 64F and it kept going off. I asked hotel workers about it. They told me, it works kind of like central AC. It turns off when temperature in the room reaches 64. I am a cold natured person, I'm always cold. I keep it at 77-78F at home and I still get cold. Well, let me tell you, I was sweating like nobody's business with 64 F in the room. Everything was damp and room felt humid.
      3. Bathroom sink and towels were full of hair. There also were weird stains on the door. I don't even want to think what was smeared there.
      4. Holes on the window curtain and carpet.

I don't think it worth $140 per night, but I had roof above my head and they got me from and to the airport, which I'm grateful for.

Ok so here is the Real deal on the JFK Inn
      It's obviously not a 5 star ...
But some of the reviews are over the top saying it's a 1 star
      My visit 7/2019
FYI this a small motel NOT a fancy hotel
Let me tell you the plus
It's right on the conduit easy peasy to find I drove past this place many times since I used to live in NY
They have their own though small parking lot you drive right in and park
Very friendly nice girl at the check in desk
She told me about their breakfast and offered a wake up call
In listening to her to talk the other employees and their van driver your can see she is nice and respectful.
A little fish pond with clean water
My room was clean (notice I typed clean) it's obv bare bones plain
The AC was blasting cold as I entered my room sooo refreshing as it was a blazing hot day. Thank you to who ever put it on.
      The bathroom was clean
The mattress was heaven ...I kid you not I got such a nice nights sleep.
A very nice breakfast offering of bagels donuts bananas and cereal ...and the bagels were really fine
Go ahead you try and find a decent room in a great location for under 100 a night then tell me
      Ok here are the bad
Carpet has bleach stains it's obviously dingy
Tiny lobby the couch let's just say it has duck tape covered arm rests
Don't look out your rooms window there is nothing to see but a wall.
      Bathroom is small awkward configuration
      Parking lot is small
Towels are not thick and plush they are actually textured good for drying your self off
      There you have it
      Welcome to NYC

I'm grateful to have had a reasonably comfortable bed to sleep on when my flight was canceled. But this place is pretty dumpy. The room had stains on the ceiling and walls, and peeling wallpaper. And the hallways had stained carpet. See photos.

They offered a pretty good breakfast of carbs - bagels, muffins and pastries.

      And they were very nice.

I just wish they'd invest some of the $197 (!) I spent on renovating.

If you are looking for a high quality hotel with all the amenities and beautiful view...you may want to go somewhere else.
We used this hotel as a place for rest and showering during our 12 hour layover in New York. Two of the best things about this hotel is that is has a free shuttle that comes every hour on the 30s (10:30, 11:30, 12:30, etc.) and it's less than 2 miles away from JFK! They also give complementary breakfast, but don't expect waffles and pancakes. Another pro about this place is that the staff were all friendly, so I had to add another star. I should also mention that this place is a non-smoking hotel which I liked. They charged us about $80 for 6 hours. For what we used this hotel for it did it's job, although the building is dated and could use a revamp and a bit more organization. Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend this place for an overnight stay.

THIS DUMP SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!!! IT IS A HEALTH & SAFETY HAZARD! YOU'RE BETTER OFF SLEEPING AT THE AIRPORT. They should be reported to the NYC Health Dept. I should have known when I walked into the lobby and saw the bullet proof glass at the check in desk. This place is a nightmare, gross stained OLD carpet, peeling wallpaper, chipped paint on ceilings and walls, gross bathroom, mismatched garage sale furniture - one of the bed side tables was an old desk chair!? It looks like it hasn't been updated since the 70's. I could go on and on ... But the worst thing was when I left my room in the morning and there was a man laying in the hallway - I THOUGHT HE WAS DEAD! It pains me to think that this is the first or last impression people from around the world have of the USA. JFK would roll over in his grave if he knew his name was associated with this dump. I still have PTSD from the nightmare of staying at the JFK Inn Hotel.
