I never imagined visiting the city had became so peaceful as I visited Madinah. The moment I stepped into Masjid Nabawi for the first time, I felt like I was reminded of all my burdens and worries. They were not as heavy and not as scary as usual. That day they still exist but felt so light.

Madinah is so peaceful. Day by day there, I just remembered all the stories and struggles of the Prophet Muhammad for his people and religion, a guiding light that returns us to the source of divine peace and surrender. His life was the shining example of a man of extraordinary endurance. His father died before his birth; his mother died when he was only 6 years old; and his grandfather, who took up his guardianship, also died soon. Then it was his uncle Abu Talib who protected him.

When God appointed him His last Prophet, he was faced with the most brutal persecution and hostility from his own people. But did not make him a cynic, they perfected his faith in God, making him all the more strongly committed to his God-given mission. And imagine the day when the Prophet PBUH had to leave his home, his city, and his people and emigrate to another place! The Hijrah, as the emigration of the Prophet from Makkah to this city — Madinah is known, was a great sacrifice and a painful decision for the Prophet at the time when he undertook it. But his personal comforts, likes, and dislikes had no value in the face of the immense task before him. He led many great and heroic battles against and received Qur’an as the guidance for the worlds and the manifest light.

There are no words to describe how amazing and just how breathtaking..

There are no words to describe how amazing and just how breathtaking that moment. In this city the greatest man to walk this Earth is, who resting right there in the heart of this beautiful city we all know and love. We are lucky to be there and directly sending our salaam to the Prophet PUBH and realized that you are just meters away from him.

The experience of the Ziyarah in the Rawdah was the most amazing moments ever. Ar-Rawḍah is an area between the minbar and the burial-chamber of Muhammad. It is regarded as one of the Riyāḍ al-Jannah (‘Gardens of the Paradise’).

Muhammad said “Whoever visits me after my death is like he who had visited me during my life.”

“When a person stands at my grave reciting blessings on me, I hear it; and whoever calls for blessings on me in any other place, his every need in this world and in the hereafter is fulfilled and on the day of Qiyamah I shall be his witness and intercessor.”

Just imagine that you visit the Prophet. Try to imagine it…

Assalamu’alaikum Yaa Rasoolullah, Ya Muhammad SAW..

When I was praying there, my tears were flowing; very grateful to be your people, as a Moslem. I gave a thousand thanks for all the guidance, lights, opportunities, and all the beautiful things and beloved people that I have received so far. I lost my words to describe how grateful I am. I have poured out all my sorrows, the problems, my fears, but there is great faith that everything is with Your permission and everything will pass in a beautiful way. I have conveyed all my wishes, hopes and aspirations, I have conveyed all my intentions, and I pray that I will be as strong as you, Ya Rasoolullah, because our Allah will always be with us, and all we are warriors seeking the blessing of Allah. It was so, so peaceful and so emotional.

Light in the beautiful Nabawi.

But remember, that when you are there, you will meet many Muslims from all over the world, and always remind yourself of a lot of different behavior from others. It is so important to make sure you take everything as it comes and don’t do the things you shouldn’t do. You’ll be rewarded for your patience. Again you’ll be rewarded for your patience..

Enjoy every second while there, you will be very spoiled by the beauty of the Nabawi Mosque, Its beauty and serenity. Take time to see every corner of the Prophet’s Mosque, and the area around it. Madinah is so beautiful, the city tour of Madinah (Jabal Uhud, Quba Mosque, dates garden) is always enjoyable. Don’t worry about the huge variety of food, enjoy coffee and snacks in this most beautiful city and take as many photos as you can. You won’t get tired of seeing it many times, and believe me, there will always be a feeling of longing for this beautiful city, this is Madinah.

at that time, the last prayer at Nabawi, before off to Makkah..

Leaving Madinah and saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do. At that time, I imagined how much I would miss sujood at Nabawi and all the wonders of this city. My tears were dripping but my heart was full of gratitude. Visiting Madinah was an extraordinary opportunity. Your heart never wants to leave. Invite me to Madinah again, yaa Rabb — aamiin!
