Gold Coast Airport’s refreshed offering is part of an ongoing $500-million transformation, seeing more than 20 new stores added to the precinct. The first phase of works has been heavily focused around an elevated retail offering, with the airport now boasting a smorgasbord of pre-flight sipping and snacking options – with everything from artisan bakeries and renowned coffee roasters to healthy grab-and-go options and dine-in eateries.
Leading the charge is Heinemann Australia, which has officially launched at the domestic terminal bringing its curated selection of Australian and international luxury brands to the precinct, many of which are usually only available when travelling internationally at Heinemann Tax and Duty Free. Keeping with the Heinemann shopping experience its other nine stores across the country are renowned for, the new Gold Coast Airport store offers a spacious shopping experience highlighting both Australian and international products in beauty, fashion, technology, gifts and more. Expect to find the likes of Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Clinique, Gucci, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Versace in the mix, alongside coveted local brands Camilla, P.E Nation and Frank Green.
There’s also no need to worry about baggage allowance if you shop up a storm – Heinemann has that covered too. Offering home delivery nationwide, you can shop without worrying about tipping the scales and having to pay extra. Heinemann also has Click and Collect as well as Shop and Collect services, where you can order online and pick up when you arrive at the airport, or buy before a departing flight and pick up on your return.
Regardless of where you’re travelling to or from, Gold Coast Airport will now be a luxury destination by its own merit where both Gold Coasters and out-of-towners will want to stop in. Chief Commercial Officer of Queensland Airports Limited Adam Rowe said: “We’re also investing significantly in upgrading the domestic departure lounge, so we’re excited to see this all come together.”
The Heinemann store at Gold Coast Airport’s domestic terminal is officially open. To find out more, head to the Gold Coast Airport to see for yourself or go to the Heinemann Australia website.
