Obituary of Harley Dean McCartney

June 22, 1961 – Kerrobert, Saskatchewan

December 10, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Harley passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 61 and is survived by his loving wife of more than 40 years Patricia, daughter Stephanie, son-in-law Tim, brother Orville, and sister Shelley.

With an adventurer’s spirit, Harley dove into depths with his daughter, scaled mountains to spelunk with friends, and piloted above the clouds with his wife and over 100 friends and family members. He embraced nature even jumping from the heavens to float back down to Earth experiencing all it had to offer in panoramic view.

With a strong and dedicated mind, Harley built a loving family, a successful business, and yes-even a real airplane.

With a giving heart, Harley never wavered in his commitment to his family, became a mentor to many, and made friends wherever he went. He inspired joy in others through jokes, tales, and sometimes even a song on his trusty guitar.

We miss you. We love you.
