Ayr, Clare, Home Hill, Giru, Charters Towers and Ingham police divisions have joined forces to show their commitment to stopping domestic and family violence in our communities.
This year Ayr Domestic Violence unit organised White Ribbon decal stickers to be attached to all police vehicles, along with posters and flyers to help raise awareness about violence against women.

The QPS acknowledges the First Nations – Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the Traditional Owners of the lands throughout Australia, and their connection to country and community. The foundations by these ancestors — our First Nations people — gives strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous.
