Shirley Collins Magagula has been appointed as the Faculty Librarian for Education and Health Sciences at the North-West University (Mahikeng campus) as of 01 December 2023.

He is a graduate from the University of Limpopo where he studied Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and later a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Studies. He started his librarianship journey at the University of Mpumalanga at the Mbombela Campus in 2019 and he later joined the NWU Library as an Assistant Librarian at the Potchefstroom campus.

He is a dedicated and passionate librarian who intends to further his studies in the near future.
