Partick Thistle became only the second side to take points off ScottishPower Women’s Premier League leaders Rangers this season.

Sky Sports Cup finalists Partick Thistle and Rangers played out a goalless draw, allowing Celtic to cut their old rivals’ lead to four points with a 3-1 victory at Hibernian. in which Liverpool loanee Natasha Flint bagged a brace.

Glasgow City won 5-1 at Montrose to move within six points of the leaders, although they fell behind to a Tammy-Lee Harkin header. City’s fightback was aided by a double from Fiona Brown.

Hearts put four past Aberdeen, Hamilton Academical stay bottom despite a second win of the season, 2-1 over Motherwell, with goals by Josephine Giard and Chloe Muir.

Spartans hit Dundee United for six to escape the bottom two at their hosts expense, as Hannah Jordan contributed two goals.

Queen’s Park remained ten points clear at the top of SWPL 2 with a dozen goals at Stirling University, Ami Robertson leading the way with a four-goal haul.

Kilmarnock moved four points clear in the promotion play-off spot, winning by the odd goal in five at Glasgow Women. Jordan McLintock’s fitrst-half brace was added to in the second half by Dionne Brown.

Boroughmuir Thistle are a point short of third-placed Livingston, having beaten them 2-1 away with Abigail Varghese getting the crucial second goal.

St Johnstone won by a similar score at basement side Gartcairn, Olivia Hurrell and Ellie-May Cowie putting them 2-0 up.
