Location Lat 22° 58' 40N 97° 45' 8E Lashio Airfield is located at an elevation of 2,450' above sea level two miles north of Lashio (Lasho) in Shan State in Myanmar (Burma). Wartime History On April 30, 1942 occupied by the Japanese and used as a military airfield. During late October 1942 Japanese aircraft from Lashio flew missions against Dinjan in India. American missions against Lashio Airfield June 3, 1942–March 7, 1945 Today Still in use today as Lashio Airport classified as a small airport.
