Public airport located 4 km west of Gimli town and administered by Rural Municipality of Gimli 204-642-6697/6688. Former RCAF Gimli base that closed in September 1971.
West parallel runway 15 - 33 is now closed. It is used for Car Drag Racing. One of the races was in progress in July 1983 when Air Canada 767 starved of fuel used it for emergency landing.
