Nora Danish to start her own production company
17 Apr – Nora Danish recently revealed that she is starting her own production company after 20 years in the acting business.
The actress revealed that the idea of having her own company sparked in December last year, but that they are still waiting for the right time to begin operations.
"If I plan to do more serious roles, I will use my own production company to realise that dream. I can also choose my actors, including working with our Indonesian counterparts. But that is all in the plan for now," she said.
Nora also stated that opening a company is a way for her to continue being active in the business and try new things at the same time.
As of now, the actress is learning more about producing from others who are more experienced.
"I have been acting for a long time, so I have to learn how to manage a production company. Once I start, I have to be fully committed to it," she added.
In related news, Nora is set to come out with a new movie, "Sumpahan Malam Raya", a horror comedy by filmmaker Prof A Razak Mohaideen, which will be released on 22 April.
