This is a pavement renovation and expansion project and it includes 2x 3,500 m long Runway, 2,850 m long Parallel Taxiway, Ladder Taxiways and Aprons. Since the air traffic increases daily, existing pavements are about to finish their lifetime. There are visible deterioration of the existing pavements, both asphalt and concrete. Existing drainage structures do not function at all. All the pavements and drainage structures will be renewed. Design follows ICAO and FAA standards
