WHY DO NOT WE LOOK AT BURZUM LIVE? VARG VIKERNES EXPLAINS IT

The Norwegian musician Varg Vikernes, who is Burzum himself, has commented on the reasons why he does not play live.

He has done it through a video on his YouTube channel.

In it he explains that he does not like to play live and that on one occasion he has been offered 300,000 pounds for two concerts in London to which he has said "No, thanks".

He says that he has never cared about money, that he has never done anything to get money and that he makes money because he does things, an important nuance for him. He states that he has already spent 15 years in prison and that if he had to rehearse for a month with a group of musicians "metalheads" it would be like going back to prison that month. Vikernes does not agree with the operation of the metal scene and so he has expressed it in many of the videos that he has uploaded to his channel.

He says that for him music is something very personal and he does not want to have to be in a place where he does not have the freedom to do or say what he wants. He is really free making music with his computer or recording videos for his YouTube channel.

We can deduce from this video that if there was any minimal hope that Vikernes would climb onto a stage, it will dissipate completely.
