The Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, Dushyant Chautala, has announced that the Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport will be functional by 1November 2023.
Nine air routes to various states will be operated under the regional connectivity scheme. Following the completion of different tasks, passengers will travel comfortably on these routes, said the Minister.
Air India personnel will inspect Hisar airport for potential flying training operations, Chautala announced.
He mentioned that there are three additional companies competing to commence flight training operations in Hisar, and an open tender will be issued shortly.
The Deputy Chief Minister provided an update on the ongoing projects at the airport, stating that the construction of the airport's boundary wall will be finished in May.
He added that the airport has been equipped with watch towers that meet international standards for security. The taxiway construction is nearly finished, and advanced lighting systems have arrived, which will be installed starting next month.

The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
