Flyer tries to smuggle 10 yellow anacondas at Bengaluru airport, held

BENGALURU: Bengaluru Customs officials apprehended a passenger at Kempegowda International Airport on Monday for allegedly attempting to smuggle yellow anacondas hidden in his check-in luggage. The officials discovered 10 yellow anacondas concealed in the passenger's check-in bag upon his arrival from Bangkok.
According to Bengaluru Customs, they foiled an attempt to smuggle 10 yellow anacondas hidden in the check-in bag of a passenger who had arrived from Bangkok.

In a post on social media platform X, Bengaluru Customs wrote, "Bengaluru Air Customs intercepted attempt to smuggle 10 yellow Anacondas concealed in checked-in bag of a pax arriving from Bangkok. Pax arrested and investigation is underway. Wildlife trafficking will not be tolerated."
