SHINee’s Minho’s grandfather passes away

Popular Kpop group, SHINee’s member Minho’s grandfather Choi Wol Sung breathed his last on Sunday. His last rites have been set up at the VIP ward of the Yoosun Hospital in Daejeon where Minho is currently present with his family members, including father Choi Yoon Kyeom.

Popular Kpop group, SHINee’s member Minho’s grandfather Choi Wol Sung breathed his last on Sunday. His last rites have been set up at the VIP ward of the Yoosun Hospital in Daejeon where Minho is currently present with his family members, including father Choi Yoon Kyeom.
On June 21, SHINee’s agency SM Entertainment issued a statement confirming the untimely demise and read, “Minho lost his grandfather on June 20.
He’s currently mourning at the mortuary, and we plan on adjusting his scheduled activities.”
The funeral will take place at Sun Medical Center in Daejeon on June 22 at 7 am KST.
Minho joined SHINee in 2008 and has since been a part of several hit tracks including ‘Replay’, ‘Ring Ding Dong’, and ‘Lucifer’ among many others. The boyband made a comeback with her repackaged album ‘Atlantis’ and gained positive responses from the audience.
Apart from the group, Minho has been confirmed to make a special appearance in tvN’s upcoming drama ‘Yumi’s Cells’ starring Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yoo Bi, and Park Ji Hyun. It’s based on a hit webtoon.
