Reports of a South African woman who made news earlier in June claiming to have given birth to 10 babies at once have turned out to be fake, according to enquiries that have been conducted.
37-year-old Gosiame Thamara Sithole was rumoured to find herself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for giving birth to maximum babies in a single pregnancy. Speculations were also rife since no official pictures related to the birth were released and government officials simply went by the family's birth.
