This lake is the largest glacier lake in the entire country of Czech Republic. It is located in the Bohemian Forest near the village of Zelezna Ruda. It is named as the Black Lake because the water of the lake reflects the dark colors of the forest surrounding it and also the depth of the lake adds to the dark effect that the water creates. Hlucin Lake is another natural lake located on the outskirts of Hlucin town in the Czech Republic.
