Fire causes minor damage to Central Falls apartment house

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WJAR) — Firefighters in Central Falls responded to a fire on the first floor of an apartment house at 36 Garfield St. at about 8:45 a.m. Thursday.

Officials said there were no injuries and minor damage.

Investigators said the cause of the fire appears to be electrical.
