Liebenberg was the top diver in both the preliminary and final rounds of the 1-meter competition.  She scored 259.65 in the five-dive prelims, besting the second place score by 17 points.  In the final round, scores did not carry over.  She totaled 265.55, consistently scoring in the 7.5 range and earning a handful of 8.0s.  She was 32 points ahead of the field.

Liebenberg and her synchro partner, Stefan Steenkamp, scored 218.76 to easily win the mixed championship.

As the national champion, Liebenberg qualified to compete in the two individual and two synchro events at the Canada Cup in May.  She is also qualified to be on the South African team for the FINA Diving Grand Prix this summer.

Liebenberg is South Africa's first alternate for the World Cup and is eligible to represent the nation at the World University Games in China.
