The first character you come across when starting the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion is Songbird. She will call you over the phone and explain her current predicament, which is that her plane with the NUSA President on it is being hijacked and set to crash in Dogtown. It’s certainly an interesting situation, but you need to trust Songbird if you want to start the Phantom Liberty expansion. However, you might also be wondering if you can take things a little further than simply trusting Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077.
Romance options are quite prevalent in the main story of Cyberpunk 2077, so it’s not a stretch to wonder if the developers at CD Projekt RED included some new options with the expansion. And, given Songbird is one of the main characters in Phantom Liberty, she might be your first choice as a romance option.

Can you romance Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077?
I pondered this same question during my run through Phantom Liberty, and I exhausted every route that involved trusting Songbird and helping her through her predicament. Without spoiling anything, Songbird is in quite a mess, and you will have to eventually decide whether to fully trust her or not. This impacts the story and Songbird’s view of you.
Even by going with the routes that included Songbird throughout Phantom Liberty, though, it’s not possible to romance her in Cyberpunk 2077. There is no romantic side quest or “flirting” dialogue options that ever surface with Songbird throughout the expansion. While you can spend some intimate moments with Songbird, it will only ever result in her walking away without looking back.
While this might be disappointing to some players, I recommend you play through the entirety of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty and then make your decision on whether you even want to romance Songbird in the first place. Just remember when playing, though, you can’t romance Songbird in any capacity.
