So first thing I need to do is just say I love the thundercats this is just an observation (my mind goes to the gutter sometimes). Older cartoons in the 1980-1995 range have some pretty spectacular characters and costumes. I mean come on Jem, She-Ra, and Street Sharks. I just realized because of a friends son they re-made thundercats into a this Ben Ten kind of show. The new adaption had the same kind of plot and characters but they are wearing way more clothes. The new show I could take way more serious and it had some love stories going on but they were not as weird as the original. So me and my daughter did a thundercats marathon of the 1985 tv show and the movie HO!!!! While I was watching I started writing down the quotes that Lion O said that just made me giggle,blush, and palm my forehead. It really has to do with his outfit and the way he is drawn because of it I just couldn’t take anything he said seriously. Don’t get me wrong I love the old art but some of these just really got my mind in the gutter and ask “really did he just say that”. So here are 7 of my favorite quotes from Lion O.
