Dr. Johnson’s love and care for her patients shines through in her personal touches that let her furry patients and their families know they are extra special. She is a doctor who treats her patients as if they were her own fur babies. She will listen to your concerns and be there to answer your questions. She loves interacting with her clients and their fur babies, providing them with a doctor who cares about them as individuals and understands their complicated medical histories.

Dr. Johnson is passionate about her work and always striving to learn new veterinary advancements that will benefit her patients. She embraces the modern movement of Fear Free and low stress handling. This is handling all patients with respect and finding fun ways to make veterinary visits enjoyable for even the anxious and fearful patients. She provides telemedicine and has a special interest in surgery, ultrasound, and behavior medicine. For the past 16 years she has been providing exceptional veterinary care to fur babies in Burke Va.

Dr Johnson knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 6 years old. She loves animals, talking with people, and helping others, the perfect recipe for a family veterinarian. She attended Virginia Tech and the Virginia Tech Veterinary School. She lives in Fairfax with her husband and daughter. She has a rescue dog from homeward trails, Kenny and golden retriever Ruby. She looks forward to meeting and taking care of you and your fur babies.
