419 "Moose" demo jet at the 1994 Abbotsford airshow. This was the last time I saw active CF-5s; soon after, the Canadian government announced that the CF-5 fleet would be retired, and by the following Spring they were gone. :(

Sporting Centennial of Flight markings, this 410 Sqn dual was used as a traveling companion and spare for the 2003 demo jet (188720). I’m told ‘906 ran out of airframe hours and was recently scrapped. :(

From 2004 onward, the Canadian Forces have had a single CF-18 demo team, alternating between 410 Sqn at Cold Lake, AB and 425 Sqn at Bagotville, PQ. Hi-viz markings have usually been limited to the tails. :( Here’s the 2004 demo jet, from 425.
