Dagali was a small mountain airport built to serve the neighbouring ski resorts. It even had a direct service from London-Stansted in the 1990s. The airport closed for scheduled services in the early 2000s. The terminal, like that at nearby Fagernes-Leirin, was built using the traditional building style of the area with tarred timber structures. Note the red telephone box next to the terminal. The few still remaining are listed as national monuments.
