There’s no shortage of icons among Ferrari’s wide range of track-focused supercars. These are some of the finest automobiles ever built. However, despite each and every single one of them being genuinely great, somehow the F430 Scuderia manages to stand out.
Let’s run through some of Ferrari’s legendary track focused V8 models, starting with the 348 GT Competizione, which preceded the 360 Challenge Stradale, the latter representing a major leap forward in terms of performance.

Then came the F430 Scuderia, the 458 Speciale, 488 Pista and so on. Yet, there’s something about the F430 Scuderia that makes it stand out in a crowd of ultra-agile prancing horses. It’s the overall recipe (specs plus chassis/setup) that amazes.

The F430 Scuderia was unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show by Michael Schumacher himself and was tasked with competing against the likes of the Porsche 911 GT2 and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. Compared to the regular F430, the Scuderia was lighter by about 220 lbs, and it had more power and better electronics.

Its single-clutch automatic gearbox would shift in just 60 milliseconds, while a new traction control system working alongside the E-Diff electronic differential would provide otherworldly levels of grip and performance. Speaking of which, this car’s mid-mounted naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 engine came with a revised intake, exhaust and a higher compression ratio for a total output of 503 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque.

With a perfect launch, you could hit 60 mph (97 kph) in about 3.5 seconds, before maxing out at nearly 200 mph. Man and machine genuinely felt as one, whenever a drive would sit behind the wheel of a Scuderia.

This brings us to this ad we found recently, where one lucky bidder is about to ride off into the sunset with this 6k-mile Rosso Scuderia example, rocking the dual white racing stripes like a boss.

The car appears to be in mint condition, and there are so many goodies on board worth bragging about – like the carbon fiber seats wearing Nero leather and cloth, carbon fiber trim (console, dashboard, door panels), air conditioning, drilled aluminum pedals, a red leather-wrapped steering wheel with an integrated LED shift light, plus the carbon fiber paddle shifters for the six-speed F1 automated transaxle gearbox.

According to the seller, the car also comes with an aftermarket exhaust system, which may or may not be a good thing. All we can tell you is that the F430 Scuderia’s stock exhaust was already brilliant. Thankfully, the factory exhaust system is included in the sale.

We should also mention the 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, as well as the Brembo brakes, wearing the same color as the exterior of the vehicle.

Back when this car was new, its original owner had to pay a staggering $309,536 for it, and it was probably worth every penny.
