[Avionics Today June 4, 2014] Boeing announced the opening of the Boeing Research & Technology-Brazil (BR&T-Brazil) center, which will focus on aerospace technology and research in aviation biofuel development, remote sensing and support and services technologies. BR&T-Brazil is located in the Sao Jose dos Campos Technology Park.
Boeing has another five similar research centers outside of the U.S., including Europe, Australia and India, China and Russia.
“BR&T-Brazil will connect research activity that we have underway throughout the world,” said Paul Pasquier, Boeing Research & Technology vice president of Global Technology. “Brazil has some of the most innovative technologists in the world, and this center will prove as a catalyst for enabling global collaboration that will mutually benefit Brazil and Boeing.”
