This Adorable Cat Looks Exactly Like Shrek’s Puss In Boots, And The Internet Went Nuts For It

It’s awesome when movies mimic real life. But rarely does it ever go the other way around: in fact, it’s so rare that if something looks like anything from a movie, usually the news spreads like wildfire, and today’s case is no exception. Recently, Pisco the cat broke the internet with a photo that looks exactly like Puss in Boots in that memorable scene from Shrek 2, where Puss in Boots used his secret weapon: the cat eyes. Luckily for Pisco, this isn’t just a lucky coincidence, and he rocks his cat eyes 24/7. He’s a little bit chonky, but that just comes as a side effect of having such irresistible eyes (and fur, of course).

Does Pisco have low vision? I've never seen a fully-sighted cat with permanently expanded pupils. Not that it isn't cute, because he's as cute as a button.

It's possible to force pupils to dilate with atropine eye drops. Of course there's no way to tell what's going on with this cat, but always dilated like this is not normal.

Pisco is so flocking adorable 😍 But no mention if he's been to the Veterinarian about it. They may not know that this is a symptom of possible: "pain, overstimulation & age-related atrophy"(looks young but not stated), "Cat's eyes should dilate periodically, so it's a real concern if the pupils never contract." And "Various health concerns are connected to dilated pupils, including feline leukemia, toxicity, dysautonomia and tumors". Anytime something is "unique or unusual" with an animal, especially when it has sudden onset... please take them to the Vet (if you can) or at least research it, for pet's sake.
