  • Sometimes, when I read Complete Sports news I find it funny to believe the level of error committed.

Now in this write up, which one are you trying to say that Omeruo plaid the three matches or yet to play for the team in this competition.

Nigeria have professionals that can do better.

  • Kelechi Is a Finisher Many teammates in SE and Leicester Confirm it when asked Who is the best finisher in their team they always say Kelechi Iheanacho Patson Daka even confirmed it too.. Which is a surprise why the coach has not put in Kelechi in this cup yet

    • Thumbs up Brotherman Ugo. It’s always nice reading your comments. Yes Kelechi Iheanacho is a good finisher.

  • MONKEY POST 3 months ago

They should also try their legs out on free kicks.. we need free kick Kings (fkk) like Jay Jay okocha…

    • @MONKEY POST Kelechi Is a deadly finisher You that is always remembering Musa whenever you hear Argentina why can you not remember Kelechi Free Kick against Argentina WC 2018 Friendly Warm up Game, Played in 2017 Krasnador, Russia.

Another Reason for Kelechi even Lookman does not execute Free Kicks as well as Iheanacho in that Current AFCON Squad.

      • @MONKEY POST Kelechi At least that game we even won sef

        • MONKEY POST 3 months ago

And then is there anywhere in my comment where I said they should stop kelz from being a free kick specialist?

My comments suggest that the coach should try and discover new free kick specialist to replace Jay jay…

          • @MONKEY POST I just won remind you say no be only Musa Way sabi score goal against Argentina o. no vex abeg lol!!….

  • Chima E Samuels 3 months ago

@Ugo it’s a good thing that we have more Arsenals in the bench. Kelechi will take teams unaware should there be any need to bring him on when we are lacking goals. Take note he is injury prone and should only be used when required. I also long to see him but it’s better to save him when required.

    • @Chima E Samuel I get that but I feel he is fully recovered and now is the time Angola to unleash Iheanacho and Moffi even from the bench. And Chukwueze I believe have learned his lesson of not to be Selfish. Infact if the coach makes the right decisions. This AFCON for Nigeria can also won from our bench.

Ah brodaman @ Chima welcome to the moving train. Lolzz. So so happy that you, Ugo and many others are beginning to believe. YOU ARE ALL WELCOMED. THIS TRAVELLING TRAIN IS BEGINNING TO GET FULL, FOR ITS SAFE TO SAY THE DRIVER ISN’T DRUNK AFTERALL. WE SHALL SURELY GET TO A POSITIVE DESTINATION. Take your calculator and ONLY press numbers in hours remaining to shout to the highest heaven. Hallelujah, Glory, praise and thanks to God Almighty, HE HAS GIVEN US VICTORY. AAAAAAAWWUUUUURAAAA. Victory is certain. I am loving this.)).

Omo we can hope with caution and if at the end we win then nothing spoil. We have been saying it that Nigeria has the squad but the players needed good coaching. Nothing comes easy sha because we have to contend with Angola counter attacking duo of Mabululu and Gelson whom are very decisive if given an inch. Eagles must mean business if we must go past them because Angolans are full of Dramas!

      • @Chima Angolans also have this over confidence and have the ability to dominate a sport if they show interest in it as they proved with Basket BAll and their Football trajectory from the Mid- late 2000’s up to date. They will be our Biggest threat yet, they DRC or Ivory Coast that is of course if we get past them and either of Morocco, Cape Verde or SA for that matter

@Glory I have never lost faith in this Squad albeit after the injury to some key players I won’t lie my confidence was hit small however still had faith in the likes of Osimhen, Bassey, Iheanacho and Lookman etc. as well As Chukwueze( Albeit a bit disspointed ) to come good. My only problem with SE has always been our Administrations decision making skills

Sometimes, reporters should learn not create problems when there is none. For now the starting 11 for the current formation won’t. The coach can only field players he trusts will perform under certain circumstances.
Trust me, Pesseiro really wants to use the AFCON to make a bold statement. Through his formation and players selection as the team progresses, he has really won me over with his flexibility and substitutions.
The team is winning and has gone a step further than the last time and we are here talking about a player that can only be fielded when the team needs goals. Of course Kelechi is a good scorer but we have Osi9 and lookman who are the best combo in all round football. We have Moses who provide the balance for the team. Iwobi is growing game by game.

    • Thumbs up Larry. We also have Onuachu for world class step overs, Uzoho to keep clean sheets and Aribo this best number 10.

      • Glory 3 months ago

Hahaha… @ Deo you dey find trouble with this Onuachu matter oo. Dem go beat ooo. Lolzz. L

      • Yabaoh 3 months ago

        deo

lol what a agbero! mumu haha, why not play this 11,
ozuho, awaziem, balogun, zaidu the the 3 striker will be onauchu, musa and chukuwze then wit these team you cannot loose- yeye man, your mumu no get furo, mrs long ting essays man haha mugu

        • Chima E Samuels 3 months ago

You need to see a Doctor.

          • It’s a stage when we need to see Iheanacho behind Osimhen and we shall see goals. Simple and sure combination.

  • Footballfanatic 3 months ago

Reports coming out indicate Nwabali will miss the Angola game and probably out of the tournament. Gold help us with Uzoho. He has a chance to redeem himself or finally cancel himself.

    • Edoman 3 months ago

This is disappointing news to follow. Unfortunately, Uzoho is not redeemable. Even, his teammates do not have confidence in Uzoho.

  • King S 3 months ago

I think the noise on Iheanacho is sponsored and that to me is very dumb. Is he only the one that is not playing? Aren’t other players deserving of play as well. For instance, Bruno, when even Zaidu does not play well? Yusuf is not longer a guaranteed starter in this correct formation and he’s not a bad player. Moffi, Onyedika, and all have not played. So why the news on Ihenacho only? Who the hell is he that he thinks he is a guaranteed starter by paying journalists to talk about his training achievements. Some one is even saying that he is better than Lookman in the current set-up. There’s nobody, I repeat nobody that deliveries better crosses than Lookman in that squad. Maybe only Bassey. So, drown the f***king news on Iheanacho. It’s embarrassing at this point.

    • King S 3 months ago

      Current set-up

    • @King S Shut up you ingrate. when Iheanacho has breen scoring up and down for SE recently the whole of last year year before etc and laying assists were you complaining. did you not hear up there that Iheanacho is the best finisher in that team. My friend let people who know’s talk about ball we don’t need mediocre minds coming here and confusing the coach in this critical stage. Against Saudi Arabia Kelechi came on to save our face. Do You have a problem with Kelechi Ingrate?.

Again I didn’t think Zaidu or Osayi or Onyedika are free kick specialist! or are they Oga?. one more thing who scored the last free kick Nigeria ever scored against any team go and Research before coming hear and f*** F** F((**** up and Dan Mtcheeew!!!!!

      • Ufuoma Douglas 3 months ago

Then why is your iheanacho not the current highest goal scorer, he was there before victor. Can he have contributed defensively like lookman or Moses. Know coach change a winning team. He can come in when the game is approaching PK.

        • Iheanacho is Better than Moses Simon. Kelechi Has 15 goals in 50 appearances for SE Musa has 16 in 102 apps while Moses Simon has 9 goals in 67 apps.. Guy stop disrespecting Iheanacho Pls. It is double standards especially as you all lick Mr worst stat in SE history Ahmed Musa Yansh. I really have a problem with alot of our peoples reasoning. Really I do and comments like yours is the reason.

Iheanacho always bails us out alot of the times.

        • John-1 3 months ago

Oga don’t bring yourself. Nothing justifies the coach keeping Iheanacho on the bench – absolutely nothing! Check Iheanacho goals and quality of teams he scored against: Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Zambia and Argentina. Abeg show respect.
All of una don dey shout winning team up and down, that’s exactly what you did until Eguaveon was fired. By the way, Iheanacho is not even a #9, yet he has almost the same amount of goals as Ahmed Musa despiteplaying almost 50 games less.

The coach said he’ll put Iheanacho when we need goals, ok o. We dey watch

          • Edoman 3 months ago

He who talk bad against Iheanacho will die for nothing. Iheanacho is a national hero. GOD BLESS HIM.

    • Pesiero Used this formation after he saw the problems those injuries would bring us after the EQ game in this tournament if he uses the same formation so he tried a new approach against Ivory Coast as that wax touted as the toughest game of the Grop phase for us. He was not going to take chances. SO there you have every= tournament requires a new approach depending on the opposition if you think you can park the bus against Argentina or Portugal and not concede you are kidding me
