French strike sees Monday flights hit at Orly Airport

Unions are protesting notably a decision to consolidate Air France activities at Charles de Gaulle airport north of the capital from 2026.

(AFP) — A French air traffic controllers' strike will hit around one in three flights next Monday at Paris' Orly Airport, as their bosses urged them Thursday to call off the stoppage.

The strike will also affect flights in the western city of Brest.

"In spite of preventive measures, disturbances and delays are to be expected," the French civil aviation authority DGAC said, urging passengers to reschedule trips if possible.
