And Alessandra Ambrosio proudly flaunted her long and lithe physique as she holidayed in her native Brazil on Sunday, hitting the beach with a group of female friends for a sun-soaked festive reunion. 

The 35-year-old supermodel was the centre of attention at the beach in her hometown of Rio de Janeiro, turning heads as she strutted down to the seafront.

Alessandra, who raises daughter Anja, seven, and son Noah, four, with her businessman fiancé Jamie Mazur, has been spending quality time with her loved ones over the Christmas holidays.

Never one to miss an occasion to visit her local beach, Alessandra brought a festive touch to her sunny celebrations by sipping on a tropical cocktail by the water's edge.

After finishing her refreshing drink, the brunette beauty joined two female friends in the sea, giggling as they tried to avoid getting knocked over by the waves.

The model has been very busy of late, appearing in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City last month for a 10th time and filming a small part in the sequel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie opposite Will Arnett.

The catwalk queen was named Victoria's Secret's first-ever spokesmodel in 2004, and has since gone on to front campaigns for the likes of Armani Exchange, Christian Dior, and Ralph Lauren.

And while she may be genetically-blessed with a long, lean figure, Alessandra admitted she puts special focus into her diet and exercise regime with extra workouts and eating healthy 'green juices and salads' in the lead-up to the annual Victoria's Secret Catwalk Show.

She previously said: 'I try to get my mind into it and I work out as much as I can. I try to hit the gym, and a little tan from the California sunshine always helps!

'I will lay by the pool and get a healthy tan. I’ll be eating healthy and I’ll watch what I’m eating.

'I will eat salads and greens and juices, I love green juices. I will cut down on cakes and all that other bad stuff.'
