Unique and original Steampunk digital collage illustration.
Engraving victorian style for vintage and industrial design.
My illustrations are digitally created by collage and layering a lot of various elements: parts of antique engravings in the public domain, elements drawn by myself, textures, patterns etc ...
The result is an original and unique creative work of art.
You will not find these works anywhere else !
My work is inspired by steampunk, industrial style, surrealism, fantasy, victorian period, and by the science fiction universe of French novelist Jules Verne.
On the last listing photo, you can see a detailed picture showing the creation process.

UCHRONIA?
English speakers very rarely use uchrony or uchronia; the most common equivalents in the English language are alternative history or the alternative world.
The word Uchronia is a neologism of the word utopia (Greek u-topos, which means «without place»), replacing topos by chronos (time). It was invented in 1876 by French novelist Charles Renouvier in the title of his novel Uchronie (L’Utopie dans l’histoire), an alternative history of the development of European civilization.
According to Charles Renouvier, the uchronie describes History, not as it was, but as it could have been.
