As soon as we heard the news earlier this summer that Sex and the City was making a reboot, we'd be lying if we said that our minds didn't immediately run wild imagining the outfits.
Of course, we took a moment to mourn the absence of our dear friend Samantha Jones - who hasn't returned to the cast for And Just Like That, reportedly due to past tensions with Sarah Jessica Parker - but our minds quickly returned to matters of the wardrobe.
Miranda and Charlotte may be bringing some major sartorial moments, but it was, of course, Carrie Bradshaw's looks that ignited the imagination of the internet.
Would she still love an LBD? Would the hemlines still be tiny? Would she still have the best accessories in the game? Would she ignite a surge in newspaper dresses? Would she wear a tutu worthy of that title-sequence-spin?
So many questions, and - so far - only a few answers (thanks to the first two episodes having dropped yesterday and our in-depth research discovering some crafty sneak peeks at the later episodes during filming).
Including shade at Samantha, uncomfortable stereotypes, and one BIG spoiler alert.
The highlights? Some very recognisable pieces that have cleverly been reintroduced for And Just Like That.
A sustainable statement or merely some good old-fashioned nostalgia? Either way (or both!), we're here for it.
So which pieces has Carrie recycled for the reboot?
1. THOSE MANOLOS
Would it really be Carrie Bradshaw if she wasn't wearing those Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps that Big famously used as a second proposal in the first Sex and the City film? To be honest, we were more adamant that the pumps should return than Mr. Big himself...
There's some juicy material ahead.
2. THE STUDDED BELT
One of the first looks leaked from the new set, this studded belt by Streets Ahead was spotted by avid fans who immediately recognised the waist-cinching staple. Worn initially with various outfits outfits in the Sex and The City movie, in the new reboot Carrie was photographed pairing it with a pink Carolina Herrera shirt dress.
3. THE FENDI BAGUETTE
What were we saying about those accessories? It looks like Carrie has wisely invested in a replacement for the epic purple sequinned Fendi Baguette bag that was memorably stolen in season three.
It's almost as if she's actually in it.
4. THE FLOWER BROOCH
An accessory likely only remembered by the truest fans, this blue flower brooch which was originally worn in season three, episode two (we did warn you - only the truest fans...) has also made an appearance. Of course, the look has been updated thanks to a switch from a fur coat to a super chic cream blazer.
The bob we'll all be copying in 2022.
