The ‘Regular Cut’ are a great all round reed far out-performing the big brand rivals at the same price point. These reeds are made on a thicker segment that is then rectified to down to the required size, this leaves the scraping in the most vibrant area of the reed and produces a very brilliant sound. 

To ensure a very responsive reed the cane is stored to age and season for at least 3 years before being manufactured into reeds.

The reed profile is similar to a traditional French cut but with its shallow shoulders left with a closed half moon shape commonly referred to as unfiled. This helps to maintain the tuning despite being an extremely flexible and responsive cane.
