Daily connection to Milan-Linate; city-near location attractive for business travelers

A new airline launches a scheduled service from Hamburg Airport: ITA Airways now flies daily to Milan Linate, bringing a sought-after connection back into Hamburg's route network. Milan's second-largest commercial airport is located close to the city center, making it particularly attractive for business travelers. Visitors planning a short trip to the Italian metropolis also benefit from the short distances to Milan's city center, which is only eight kilometers away.

"Hamburg Airport extends a warm welcome to ITA Airways," says Dirk Behrens, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport. "The new connection to Milan comes at just the right time: business travel is once again becoming more important, and many business partners would like to finally meet in person again. From now on, our passengers can reach the Italian economic center even faster and more comfortably via the city airport,"

Daily flights to the center of Milan

The ITA Airways flights depart Milan-Linate daily at 12:20 p.m. and land in Hamburg at 2:00 p.m., with a flight time of just under two hours. From Hamburg, the service departs at 2:50 p.m., with a 4:30 p.m. landing in Milan-Linate. The route is served by Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.

ITA Airways became Italy's new national airline in October 2021. ITA Airways offers a wide range of domestic and international destinations with two hubs in Italy: Rome for intercontinental flights and Milan-Linate for European destinations and onward flights within Italy. The airline is focused on leisure and business travelers. ITA Airways relies on a fleet of efficient new generation Airbus aircraft, helping meet its sustainability goals.
