Hissar To Have International Airport Soon

Tourism is the greatest source for the economic growth of the country and of any state. Considering the fact, Haryana government has decided to develop international airport at Hissar to connect Haryana with various domestic and international flights that will welcome tourists from India and world. Further, government has also decided to develop the road, rail and air connectivity to enhance tourism opportunity that are available in the state and experience the propelling economic growth. It has allocated Rs. 50 cr for the development of Hissar airport into international airport. For this MoU has been signed between Haryana government and Ministry of Railways to undertake the development, finance and implementation of this project.

Further, Kurukshetra has been identified under Krishna Circuit for possible develop tourism infrastructure to attract tourist in this holy city by Union Ministry of Tourism. The selected sites are Sannihit Sarovar, Amin Kund, Narkatari, Brahma Sarovar, Jyotisar along with Kurukshetra city. About 20 Cr would be spent on Swades Darshan scheme, Rs 2 Cr under Wildlife tourism, Rs 30 Cr under pilgrimage segment and Rs. 30 Cr under Sindhu Darshan and Kailash Mansarovar circuit. Thus, all these attractions will turn this area into potential tourist sport.
