Prom is a milestone event that tends to leave lasting memories. Whether a prom is good or bad, each story adds to the colorful tapestry of the high school experience.
Chris Christian: In 1964, I went to the prom with Lance Kirol. His dad, Bill, was a co-owner of the Jackson Hole Guide in those days. Both Lance and I liked to write. He was the sweetest guy and so nervous. I spent all evening just getting him used to touching my back when we danced. It was the best prom that I ever went to. I don’t know if it had a theme, but all the boys wore suits and ties, and all the girls wore dresses hemmed below their knees.
