The Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA), founded in 1914, is the only public university in Estonia offering higher education in fine arts, design, architecture, visual studies, art culture, cultural heritage and conservation. Located in the capital city, Tallinn, it is an active study and research institution and the leading national centre of innovation in visual culture. Studies take place in a new awarded building with an innovative and inspiring environment.

Bachelor level:

Exchange studies application deadlines
1 May for autumn semester and academic year
15 October for spring semester

Semester dates
Autumn semester: last week of August until Christmas (4 months)
Spring semester: mid January until the end of May (4-5 months)

Teaching languages
In fine arts, Animation MA and Contemporary Art MA programs are the only programs conducted in English, other programs officially in Estonian, however, international students receive individual guidance in English.
