READ THIS BEFORE VISITING AUSSIE 🇦🇺🦘

There’s sooo much to prepare before visiting aussie, so here’s some things to note that will help you!

✿ SIM CARD with 60GB

I got my simcard from Optus Yes, for only $30!!! It comes with 60GB, unlimited local calls & even free calls to quite a few countries (including Singapore!) I checked quite a few others, Vodafone has slightly higher pricing sim card! Would have opted for Vodafone if given another choice because Optus signal seems to be weaker ):

✿ AUSTRALIA VISA

you’ll need to download the AustralianETA app via appstore & submit before visiting !! The approval can take quite awhile, so be sure to submit early. This will allow you to use the electronic custom machines!

✿ TAX REFUND

You can claim tax refund if you spend > $300AUD at any shop with the same ABN !! They do check the goods at the airport before approving the claim!

✿ PROHIBITED ITEMS

They’re quite strict with the items that you bring in! Any plant related items & certain food items are not allowed to be brought in! They also do thorough checks so remember to declare your items!

✿ RIGHT HAND DRIVE

Dont need to convert your license if you’re here for a holiday! SG license can be used to rent cars ~

✿ FOOD

Food is quite pricey here, so you can do some cooking to save $$!! Their supermarkets are huge too so theres a large variety of food to explore

It is winter now❄️❄️ , a great escape from the SG heat if you’re looking to travel! The exchange rate is also quite weak so your shoppings are cheaper !!
