There are several types of commercial properties. This month, we are going to go through these types to know more about each one in depth. In general, commercial real estate properties include: 1. Office buildings: These are properties designed for businesses to operate in, with individual offices and common areas such as conference rooms and break rooms. 2. Retail spaces: These are properties intended for businesses that sell products or services directly to customers, such as shops, restaurants, and malls. 3. Industrial spaces: These are properties designed for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution activities, such as factories and warehouses. 4. Multifamily properties: These are properties that contain multiple units for residential purposes, such as apartment buildings and condominiums. 5. Hotels and motels: These are properties designed for short-term stays, such as hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts. 6. Special purpose properties: These are properties that have a unique design or purpose, such as movie theaters, bowling alleys, and hospitals. Each type of commercial property has its own unique characteristics, risks, and rewards, and investors should carefully consider their investment objectives and risk tolerance before investing in commercial real estate. One of the most expensive sales in the history of downtown #Manhattan. A six-bedroom, 7,000 square feet of living space, with panoramic views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline, and a 5,000-square-foot terrace penthouse condo apartment at #OneHighLine, a new development in West Chelsea has entered into contract at $52 million, and downtown $50 million sales are rare compared to uptown luxury enclaves. Some of the few $50 million residential real estate sales in downtown Manhattan include a penthouse at 70 Vestry Street in #Tribeca that sold for $56 million and another #Chelsea unit at the Getty, which sold for $59 million — both sales were in 2018. The sale marks a significant milestone for the rebranded development, then known as The XI, purchased by the Witkoff Group and Access Industries in 2021 for $900 million. The two-tower project is expected to be completed in winter 2024 and will consist of 240 residential units, 137 hotel rooms, retail space, and a public plaza. EI Australia are so excited to be a part of this exciting project at Woolooware Bay with Parkview Constructions. The final chapter in Woolooware Bay Town Centre’s (WBTC) four-stage masterplan is rapidly coming together with the commencement of internal finishes to Bay Central - WBTC’s vibrant retail hub featuring Woolworths and Aldi supermarkets, together with Dan Murphy’s, a fresh food marketplace, over 60 specialty stores and dedicated dining and wellness precincts. With fit outs to retail majors already in progress, internal finishes to the feature ceilings and tiled mall areas are now underway in preparation for the fit out works of the remaining general speciality retail tenancies. Our site team is also preparing for the installation of eight travelators that will fill the five-storey expanse in the heart of the retail mall. Elsewhere on site, the façade scaffold has been stripped from the Quest Hotel Building (E), with the internal finishes to the hotel accommodation rooms and residential units above nearing completion on all levels. The residential buildings A through D are making rapid progress, with the tallest building set to top out at Level 14 in coming weeks. A behemoth project that epitomises true mixed-use development, WBTC is fast becoming the jewel in Sydney’s South, with premium retail and dining convenience combining with luxurious residences, hotel operations and the new Sharks Club and stadium to offer an unmatched community and lifestyle experience. #eiaustralia #engineering #engineeringcompany #engineeringteam #engineeringproject #contaminatedland #remediation #geotechnical #sydneydevelopment #construction #parkviewconstructions
