Whilst Mopa airport does not surprise, Darbhanga airport in Bihar stands out for the high passenger traffic. It is nice to see that States with low GDP are starting more new airports. In 3 years, 𝟐𝟗 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝, out of which 3 airports are non-operational. Mundra, Hissar & Gondia had no scheduled flights as of Nov 2023. However, there are non-scheduled flights to Mundra and Gondia started scheduled flights in Dec 23. How Indigo is dominating the aviation industry? So here is the thing Indigo doing gor the past 15-20 years let's take the recent example of the new Akasa airline which started from three routes let's take the Ahemdabad - Banglore route. so for expanding the planes should be profitable. In this scenario Indigo has 300 aeroplanes... So if a flight of Akasa is schedule at 9:00 Indigo have it's flight just before like 8:45 and just after 9:15 with a slightly lower rate. Like this Indigo is squeezing the time spot of Akasa .
