Jill Lewis, MA, LCSW, CEDS-S, CGP, AGPA-F, was awarded the honor of Fellow of AGPA at the 2024 AGPA Connect meeting. Jill has spent her career specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, as well as running groups. She believes in supporting clients in marginalized bodies and recognizing the societal pressures that are put upon us from such a young age. Jill currently has four weekly interpersonal process groups as well as a bi-weekly training group for clinicians who work from an anti-diet lens. Jill is the Tri-Chair for the Groups in Private Practice SIG, past president of the Atlanta Group Psychotherapy Society, and Member-at-Large for the Affiliate Society Assembly. Meet AGPA's new Board member Rachelle Rene, PhD, BCB, HSMI, CGP, FAGPA. Dr. Rene is a distinguished practitioner and educator in the field of psychology. With over a decade of membership in AGPA, Dr. Rene has played integral roles within the organization, serving as Chair/Co-Chair of the Women’s SIG since 2012. She also contributes her expertise to various boards, including the International Board for Certification of Group Psychotherapists and the Philadelphia Area Group Psychotherapy Society. Passionate about community outreach and diversity, Dr. Rene has been actively involved in initiatives addressing health and medical issues, as well as racial and ethnic diversity. As the Enterprise Director of Primary Care Integrated Behavioral Health in Philadelphia, she spearheads innovative approaches to mental health care.
