“…Africa’s skills in repair and refurbishing point the way for the global north.” Check out the latest edition of the Circular Economy Show Podcast from @ellenmacarthurfoundation #africa#circulareconomy
Imagine my surprise moving back to the U.S. a few years ago, when I attempted to repair broken electronics or other items and discovered that the cost of repair or refurbishment is sometimes almost even 2X the cost of purchasing a new unit. Sadly, cost won in most of those cases. Repair and Refurbishment are still very crucial aspects of enabling circular economy… maybe #Africa can show how? This podcast is very relatable and nostalgic for me.
