🤔 Agriculture as a driver for #biodiversity? 🕷🌼🌳🦇🦎🌾 This was discussed and worked on today at the #Naturkongress2023 beautifully orchestrated and organized by eco.ch Thank you 🙏 What I specifically liked: 👉🏼 The broad stakeholders of the full value chain coming together 👉🏼 The opportunities to get to know initiatives and to network 👉🏼 The local/regional food that was provided by organic farms What I missed: 🤔 a sense of urgency and a clear will/dedication to shift towards regenerative approaches 🤔 the "share path" to really make agriculture a driver for biodiversity such as practiced in #SyntropicFarming 🤔 a systemic view of landuse and not only a perspective along a value chain How can we bring this to practice was asked again and again. My humble suggestion: 👀 identify farmers keen on discovering new paths, willing to build #lighthouseprojects showcasing that agriculture can be centered around biodiversity while being productive. 💡 Change regulatory boundaries for those hubs of innovation, have scientific research running along, include all stakeholders and share best practices regularly.
