Be proud of it.
That's a wrap! First typical floor enclosed at the new and exciting 50 E Randolph project Chicago. I thought this was an iconic photo as the famous "L" passed by. Utilizing imported IGU's from Asia! Thank you Clark Construction, TRA, SYP, OBE-W and East Coast Metals for your continued professionalism and confidence. This one is going to really make an impression. Follow the string of photos to follow of our progress.

It's a frigid -28C in Edmonton but the Winter Sun is on our side as it glows upon the majestic, skyward 823.2 ft Stantec Tower, the tallest tower in Western Canada under construction & its equally impressive neighbor J.W.Marriot Hotel tower at 55 storeys. The complex was developed by Katz Group & ONE Properties, designed & managed by Procore Technologies valued client Stantec while being built by PCL Construction. Targeting LEED Gold, it will have office & retail space to the 30th floor, then 454 residential units to floor 66. Total space will be 1.3 million sq/ft. According to Stantec the tower incorporates an above ground transfer slab, stabilizing the building with 1,580,000 pounds of reinforced steel. It also required four 500,000 pound structural steel outriggers to engage exterior columns for further stabilization. A marvel of structural engineering! Stantec which will be the main tenant, grew from a one man outfit (Dr Don Stanley) in Edmonton 60 years ago to a multi-billion company with worldwide operations. From these offices will emerge the design & engineering concepts of the future. At Procore we are excited for our client Stantec as well as all our industry colleagues who are participating in this project. Wishing you all much success as you race to the finish.

Caulker, finisher at Manray Glass & Aluminum
6yDutchman lol. We stopped useing them. We get the horizontal plates sent with the CW and use them when installing the glass. I know what your going to say lol. Verticals first. It doesnt matter. When the horizontals are in place you will see the amount of nose exposed at the ends. Leave that amount visible at one end and it will be centered and the verticles will fit perfect after. This is a much faster way of doing things.
