American employers can now create or upgrade their accounts with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS"). These accounts are required if the company or organization wants to register a current or prospective employee for the H1B Cap Lottery. This lottery will take place between March 6 and March 22 at 9 am. There are only 85,000 H1B visas for the entire country for the entire year. If you want to hire someone with at least a bachelor's degree between now and October 1, 2025, this is your only chance! Last year, the USCIS received over 700,000 registrations for those 85,000 H1B visas available. They have changed the rules this year, but our country will still be rejecting hundreds of thousands of qualified, educated workers with jobs in the United States. Why? Because Congress hasn't reset the H1B cap in over a decade. It hurts our economy, our productivity, and our competitiveness in the world. Congress - Fix the immigration system. Maybe after you finally pass a budget. And provide aid for our allies in the middle of a war with Russia. Sigh.

HAVING TROUBLE BOOKING THE PRIORITY SERVICE THROUGH VFS? The option for priority service has not been showing up (at times) when you select the visa application centre. Don't panic, as this seems to be a temporary glitch rather than the service not being available. Log-out and try the service at a different time and it should show up. #businessimmigration #visaapplication #vfs
