ATMs are good for withdrawing cash. I advise against making deposits into ATMs. If something goes awry, you've lost your cash/check & don't usually have a backup for your transaction. If the bank investigates the ATM snafu, it could take longer than you want. You need your funds now! If you must use technology, use your bank's mobile deposit app. At least you still have the check in hand.
