Are you familiar with the cytology books Paola Monti and I have written in the past few years for CABI? They are two publications focused on skin and fluid cytology, respectively, aiming to be reference books with concise descriptions and key bullet points to facilitate their use during diagnostic work or as a revision aid. You can find them at the links below and at any online stores, including Amazon. The skin cytology book is also available in German Language at Laboklin - Labor für klinische Diagnostik GmbH & Co. Just got back from a week of holidays in New York, and three things really caught my attention: 1) Time with loved ones: holidays make us happy and bring us closer to family and friends. Life's full of surprises (good and bad ones), so it's important to create opportunities and enjoy these moments. 2) Getting inspired: holidays aren't just about relaxing; they also give us cool ideas for life and work. They're like a spark that fires up our imagination. 3) Learning from others: holidays are a perfect opportunity to understand the many facets of human beings. Feeling pumped up and ready to dive back into things with a fresh perspective! Let's rock it together!

Collaboration and diversification are two concepts close to my heart! I always love to collaborate with colleagues of other disciplines and combine our expertise to offer something different from the usual, with the aim of making veterinary education more effective and enjoyable at the same time. I am very grateful to Toby Trimble, Trimble Group, Virbac, as well as Bio-Optica S.p.A. and Motic Microscopes (Worldwide), for making all of this possible during these two intense days of filming. We cannot wait to share it with everyone when it's ready. Stay tuned!

I strongly believe that there is nothing as efficient as combining complementary disciplines (and specialists) when it comes to achieving a diagnosis and, at the same time, learning. This belief has led us to develop a brand new cytology course that now includes a component on diagnostic imaging. As the saying goes, 'Unity is strength.' Paola Cazzini, Maurizio Longo, and myself are looking forward to meeting you in Milan in October. Course is in Italian language and includes practical sessions with individual microscopes.
