An ongoing study is looking at whether PSMA PET/CT may help identify which patients with suspected prostate cancer and nonsuspicious or unclear MRI may be able to avoid having an invasive biopsy, researchers reported in the journal European Urology Oncology. This study is a follow-up to the PRIMARY trial that linked 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT to improved sensitivity and negative predictive value for detecting clinically significant prostate cancer

He emphasizes that Comphya's unique technology could be a "game-changer" and has the potential to revolutionize the rehabilitation of erectile function post-prostatectomy. Importantly, Dr. Dundee highlights that early testing for prostate cancer can save lives. Along these lines, he also clarifies that the goal of Comphya’s investigational technology  under clinical study is to minimize the side effects of prostate cancer treatment that terrify patients. Ultimately, the objective is to enable men that will undergo prostate cancer treatment to return to their normal quality of life, recovering lost erectile function. In fact, there has been significant progress in the treatment landscape over the last decade, with more than 10 new therapies approved in the United States.
