Is 40 too late to change careers? Heck no!
After a 20 year career as an Advanced Care Paramedic, supervisor and Deputy Chief, I decided to change careers - and follow my dream of becoming a pilot.
Now, in a sense, I have combined both careers by flying as a Medevac pilot. While I no longer care for the patients myself, I make sure they get to where they need to be to receive the care they need.
At any age, follow your passion. It may take some sacrifice at first, but in my experience that sacrifice will pay dividends in the end.
