The LKDSB international students have been participating in multicultural celebrations throughout the board. Our students have put up displays, shared food from their countries, and introduced their countries. Each year LKDSB welcomes students from 23-26 countries into our schools, homes, and community. The international students bring the world to our classrooms.

Many of our international students are starting to receive their college and university offers. We are so very proud of our students and all they have accomplished while studying with us. Recently our students have received offers from the University of Toronto, Seneca College, the University of Waterloo, Queens University, Centennial College, Lambton College, York University, St Lawrence College, Ontario Tech University, and Toronto Metropolitan University, and the offers keep coming in. #YourJourneyBeginsWithUs #lkdsb #lkdsbproud #intled #sarnialambton #chathamkent

Did you know that students studying at elementary and secondary schools in Canada will be exempt from the study permit caps that were recently announced by Immigration? Each summer we send a group of educators to Taiwan to participate in the Summer ESL Program. We will run information sessions over the next little while and application packages will be out soon.

The LKDSB International Education Program is accepting applications for the April 2024 intake and September 2024. Students from around the world choose to come to LKDSB for the opportunity to receive a strong academic foundation and rich cultural experiences.
